From the White House to DC Council to community meetings, Kelly Mikel Williams’s public service experience spans federal, state, local, and neighborhood government. His life experience includes living out of his car, raising his son while jobless, and caring for his elderly mother.
It’s Kelly Mikel’s unusual combination of experiences and his relationships across the District of Columbia that equip and motivate him to run for Congress and represent the diverse city where he has lived for more than 25 years.
